NC LEADERSHIP FORUM-SPRING 2023
Home

Home

How can we increase access to adequate housing in our region of North Carolina?

This Spring, NCLF will convene two regional cohorts of local leaders to consider local housing concerns, one in Cape Fear (Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover, and Pender counties), and one in the Triangle (Chatham, Harnett, Johnston, and Wake counties). North Carolina as a whole, and these regions in particular, are experiencing rapid population growth and change. This growth impacts each county in different ways, but has implications for the availability and affordability of housing, infrastructure, and the nature of local community. The cohort will discuss concerns expressed by local stakeholders, core values, and possible actions that could be taken to address such concerns. They will also explore benefits and downsides of various responses.
